Day game drives and night game drivesOne is at liberty to self-drive anywhere on Abu Madi, but we also recommend the game drives that are offered in an open safari vehicle. Drives are offered both in the morning and evening. Fill your cold box with your favorite sundowners and watch the sun setting over the bushveld at the end of a day Tiger fishing at Josini damOnly 21km from Abu Madi is the vast Josini dam. This expanse of water is surrounded by the Pongolo Nature Reserve enabling fishermen to game view from their boats. The dam has several fish species that include tiger fish. A number of popular fishing competitions take place at Josini throughout the year, which attracts fishermen from all over South Africa. Basic facilities include a picnic site for day visitors. There are 2 launch sites close by for people wishing to go boating or angling on the dam Snorkelling at Kosi BayKosi Bay and its surrounding lakes are on the Indian Ocean, to the east of Abu Madi.
